HMAS Sydney Wreck- Dive 1, Part 2 of 2 (The search for the Sydney)

The water is clear but the ROV would not move from the garage, rather than waste hours bringing the garage back to the surface, the dive was treated as a reconnaissance mission to take whatever footage was possible for reference material for future dives. There are some files with a metal bar at the base of the picture which is the structure of the garage. Because the ROV is within the garage the whole dive, there is more movement than in other dives as the rolling and pitching of the 2.5 metre seas could not steady the ROV within the garage. Footage starts with close up of aft search platform then passes both the 4" high-angle anti-aircraft guns (4-inch High Angle Quick Firing Mark V on Mark IV Mounting), the superstructure round the bridge to B and A turrets and the break which occurred just forward of A turret. No visible on screen timecode.
