Description

On the morning of 26 April 1915 I [Charles Edwin Woodrow Bean] went to Colonel McCay's Headquarters, on McCay's Hill at Anzac. This shows Bolton's Hill on which right of line then was, and Shell Green, then a cotton field. In the distance is Kilid Bahr Plateau and the hill Achi Baba.
