Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey. May 1915. A view of Imbros, Greece, taken from Courtney's trenches. While this photograph was being taken, word was received of the torpedoing of H.M.S. Triumph off Anzac. Soon afterwards, from another point, the keel of the warship was seen with a host of small craft around it.
