Description
Lyrics to song titled `Battalion national anthem', relating to 49 Battalion AIF. Song is jocular in tone, expressing weariness with army duties and routine. Annotation shows melody was `What a friend we have in Jesus'. The song was sent home by Pte Walter Truscott to his brother in Queensland.
