Description
"Visit to the Battlefields: 6th - 9th May 2007". A family's journey retracing the steps of their father, 2nd Lieutenant Byrne Hart of the 49th Battalion Infantry, and uncle, 2nd Lieutenant Morris Hart, in Belgium and France. 3059 2nd Lieutenant Morris Hart of the 42nd Battalion AIF, (C Company 10th Platoon), was killed in action, 4 October 1917.
In the week prior to 2nd Lieutenant Morris Hart's death, his brother 2nd Lieutenant Byrne Hart of the 49th Battalion, was seriously wounded near Zonnebeke and was sent to a London hospital to recover.
