Able Seaman Kenneth James Walker
Description
Able Seaman Kenneth James Walker enlisted to the Royal Australian Navy on 12 October 1937. He first served on HMAS Cerberus, and transferred to HMAS Sydney (1935-1941) in June 1938. He served in the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean. On 20 November 1941, Able Seaman Walker, alongside the rest of the HMAS Sydney II crew, died in action after a battle with the German auxiliary cruiser, Kormoran, off the coast of Western Australia.
