Able Seaman Harold Charles Koy
Description
Able Seaman Koy enlisted to the Royal Australian Navy on 26 July 1937, when he was 16 years old. He served in HMAS Cerberus and HMAS Sydney before transferring to HMAS Parramatta in January 1940. On 27 November 1941, Able Seaman Koy was killed in action after the HMAS Parramatta was torpedoed by a German submarine and sunk. He is commemorated at the Plymouth Naval Memorial, Devon, United Kingdom.
