Acting Corporal Harold Ronald Roy Rusbourne
Description
Corporal Harold Ronald Roy Rusbourne enlisted to the Second Australian Imperial Force on 28 June 1940. After a period of training in New South Wales, he embarked for overseas service with 2/18 Australian Infantry Battalion in February 1941. With this unit, he served in Malaya. On 27 January 1942, Corporal Rusbourne was killed in action. He is commemorated in the cemetery of his home town, Glen Innes, New South Wales.
