Meads, John Hartley (Captain, b.1894 - d.1950)
Diaries written by Captain John Harley Meads while serving with the 18th Battalion during the First World War. Detailed entries describe the front-line infantryman's experiences of patrols and fatigues and his units involvement at the Somme, Passchendaele and Flanders, chiefly 1916-1918.
