Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of 7479 Sapper Wallace Gordon Cook, 4th Division Signal Company, AIF. Collection consists of a handwritten diary written by Spr Cook between 6 July 1917 and 24 January 1918 describing his daily duties including a visit form Gen Birdwood and the movement of his company. The diary is written in a First World War French travel log. Inserted into the diary is a letter written by Spr Cook to his parents.
