Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of 3827 Private Robert Leslie Holden, 11 Australian Infantry Battalion, 1915-1916.
Wallet 1 of 1 - Consists of a photocopy of a letter by Holden describing his embarkation from Western Australia in 1915 aboard the RMS 'Mongolia', training in Egypt, and later active service near Pozieres and Albert until 1916.
Also included is a photograph taken at Perham Downs, England in September 1917.
