Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. Of envelope design, this postcard features the flags of Belgium, France, Russia and Italy with the Union Jack. Two small cards are inserted. The first has the message "I'm thinking of you", illustrated with Allied flags surrounding a shield. The second card features an illustration of Allied flags attached to a central flagpole and the message "Hope and Love".
