Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. This postcard features an envelope design with two blue birds flying over a row of small pink flowers. The sun rising over water is shown in the background. A small card insert features the message "My Thoughts are always with you", illustrated with an image of a soldier writing a letter. Also enclosed in the card is a perfume card for Royal Shamrock.
