Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. This postcard features an envelope design and shows a cane basket of flowers with two bluebirds on either side holding the ends of a pale blue ribbon. This postcard is unusual in that it actually has two embroidered designs attached to the one card. The second design shows a blue and pink flower in the centre with small dark purple flowers on either side.
