Aircraft Hall is temporarily closed.

The gallery contains a number of classic aircraft from the Second World War and Korean War, including:

• Mustang
• Zero
• Sea Fury
• MiG-15
• Avro Anson
• Lockheed engine from a Hudson bomber A16-19

All of the displays will return when the gallery reopens early 2026 and will include new displays of First World War aircraft.

Lancaster bomber

G for George is currently housed at our storage and conservation facility, the Treloar Technology Centre in Mitchell.

G for George will return in early 2026 as the centrepiece of an enhanced permanent exhibition on Australians in Bomber Command.
