DPDU Field pack cover : Special Air Service Regiment
Description
Cotton field pack cover in Disruptive Pattern Desert Uniform (DPDU) fabric. The cover is made from three curved sections of material. The side sections are sewn to the middle piece with a slightly curved seam that fits over the pack in a roughly rectangular shape. The seam running all the way around the bottom of the cover is threaded with a length of black elastic. When pulled tight the cover wraps around the bottom of the pack and the elastic is secured with a green plastic toggle. Printed in black on the inside near the toggle is 'FIELD PACK COVER TRADE 1/02' and a broad arrow.
