DPDU Brassard : Special Air Service Regiment
Description
Cotton brassard in Mark II Disruptive Pattern Desert Uniform (DPDU) fabric. Sewn on the main body of the brassard is a woven patch with the Australian flag and the word 'AUSTRALIA' in blue. The brassard is secured to the sleeve by a slit in the top through which the shoulder strap is threaded and a velcro strip around the arm.

Brassard as worn by members of the Special Air Services Regiment serving in Afghanistan during the War against Terror in 2002.
