Description
A group of Second World War aircraft, that formed part of the Australian War Memorial National Collection, held at RAAF Fairbairn in 1954. Identified are: a Messerschmitt Me262 jet interceptor (centre); a Japanese Sally, twin engined bomber (left); a Lancaster B1, four engined bomber, G for George (right). See also REL/08385.001 and RELAWM31788. The Sally bomber is no longer a part of the National Collection.
