Description
Collection relating to Flight Sergeant John Tom Henry Grainger, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), Second World War. The collection comprises illustrated course notes on food and cooking produced by the William Angliss Food Trade School, Melbourne, for RAAF trainee chefs in 1941 and used by Grainger. Other items in the collection include three photographs by Grainger of an improvised dining hall for RAAF Group 735 during active service in New Guinea, Christmas 1943.
