Description
Collection relating to NX70508 Major Charles Patrick Tracey, 2/26 Battalion, Second World War. Collection comprises of five diaries written by Tracey documenting his service from the fall of Singapore in 1941, his captivity as a prisoner of war of the Japanese (in Changi), and his return to Australia in 1945. The diaries also include recipes, poems, and lists of those who died. There is also a black and white studio photograph of Tracey.
