Description
Notebook relating to service of NX70508 Major Charles Patrick Tracey, 2/26 Battalion, Second World War. The notebook covers the period between 10 February 1942 and 28 April 1944, entries are sporadic and not in chronological order. The notebook includes poems, as well as copies of official and informal reports. The reports include numbers of people sick, required supplies to help the sick, notes on an inquiry into the loss of money, the official letter concerning the surrender of Singapore, and the conditions of POWs working in Thailand in 1943.
