An unidentified Australian soldier stands to the left and an unidentified civilian (right) watching three men (possibly prisoners) lying face down on the ground in Dili. This group of 21 photographs relate to the service of Captain (Capt) Gregory Michael Knowles, who completed two tours of duty, 1999 to early 2000 with Charlie Company, 5/7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment, (5/7 RAR) and in 2002 with 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR).
