Pair of Australian Army issue boots : Corporal A A Rutledge, 2 Cavalry Regiment, Australian Army
Description
Pair of tan leather and suede Australian Army issue boots. Each boot has three pairs of brass eyelets and seven pairs of riveted loops to retain the laces. The fourth loop has a brass D ring with a lock down stud to retain the lace in position when untied. The tongue has a pocket on the inside secured with Velcro and in it is a red rubber insert. On the rubber sole is '295/104 MONDOPOINT [broad arrow symbol]'. In places the rubber and leather is worn and deteriorated.
