High visibility vest : Operation Acolyte, Commonwealth Games 2006
Fluorescent yellow vest with reflective tape over each of the shoulders and two reflective bands around the torso. On the upper right hand side is 'ADF' in reflective material with a black border. One the left is the tri-service emblem printed in black. On the back is 'ADF' in large letters in reflective material with black border. The vest has black edging and joins at the front with two pieces of black velcro. Beneath the top band of reflective material around the torso is a small woven label on the front left of the vest reading 'M Scotchlite TM Reflective Material'. Beneath the bottom reflective band is a yellow label with a logo in green. On the inside back of the vest, written in black marker, is 'PUL 409'.
High visibility vest as worn by members of Operation Acolyte which involved 2,600 Australian Defence Force personnel, from across the three services, performing a range of specialist roles to provide security, ceremonial and general support for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games.
