Studio portrait of 1376 Trooper Hadden Herbert Anderson, 6th Australian Light Horse Regiment. A farmer of Numba via Nowra, NSW, he enlisted on 5 July 1915 and sailed with 11th Reinforcements aboard SS Hawkes Bay on 23 October 1915. He died of Pneumonia on 4 February 1917, aged 21, in Egypt and is buried at Ismailia War Memorial Cemetery, Egypt.
