Description
Collection relating to the service of Lieutenant Colonel Cyril Herman Spurge, 1 Division Artillery, Egypt, Gallipoli, France, Belgium, 1914-1919. Collection consists of a photograph album containing numerous snapshots, chiefly of Spurge's fellow officers, some Gallipoli scenes, street scenes of Cairo, ships, and nurses. There are several photographs of a mascot wallaby on board SS Marere. See also P11067 for some of the photographs that have been invidually accessioned.
