A pistol holster for a Webley M1906 Metropolitan Police semi-automatic pistol with attached holster storage pouch. The holster is made from brown canvas and has brass fittings and press studs.
History / Summary
Canvas pistol holster issued with the Webley M1906 Metropolitan Police pistol. It was used to hold the pistol taken from a dead Japanese pilot by Donald Kilp who was serving with Z Special forces in New Guinea. The pistol then became his personal weapon. The Japanese aircraft had been shot down by Australian forces serving in the area.
