Webley M1906 Metropolitan Police pistol cleaning rod. The rod is made from steel wire that has been twisted into the shape of a cleaning rod. The rod has a loop for attaching a cleaning cloth.

Webley M1906 Metropolitan Police pistol cleaning rod issued with the Webley M1906 Metropolitan Police pistol. It was used to clean the pistol taken from a dead Japanese pilot by Donald Kilp who was serving with Z Special forces in New Guinea. The pistol then became his personal weapon. The Japanese aircraft had been shot down by Australian forces serving in the area.
