Unloading shell cases, Glisy Dump; verso:[Dugouts near Villers-Bretonneux]
Description
A sketch showing men unloading shell cases from waggons at the Glisy Dump. Verso: the left hand panel of a panorama sketch for 'Dugouts near Villers-Bretonneux'. This shows some dugouts set in the side of earth works, and a barbed wire fence crosses the landscape. From the artist's sketchbook covering the campaign on the Western Front during July - November 1918.
