Studio portrait of 2317 Private (Pte) Thomas Louden Ferguson, 37th Battalion, of Bobinawarrah, Vic. A farmer prior to enlisting in June 1916, Private Ferguson embarked on board HMAT Port Lincoln (A17) on 20 October 1916. Pte Ferguson died of wounds received at Mericourt, France on 9 April 1918. He was 25 years of age. Pte Thomas Ferguson was one of four brothers who enlisted between March 1915 and June 1916. Only one survived the war and returned to Australia.
