Description
Souvenir playbill produced during the First World War. This photographic copy of a playbill, written in German, is for a comedy in three acts entitled 'Der Herr Senator [The Honorable Senator]' and was written by Schönthan and Kadelburg. The performance was held at Deutsches Theatre in Trial Bay Internment camp between 16 and 18 September 1916. The playbill is illustrated with the profile of a man flanked by drawings of town buildings. The playbill also lists the characters within the play.
