Description
Souvenir playbill produced for a play performed by internees during the First World War. This photographic copy of a poster, written in German, is for a operetta in three acts entitled 'Im weissen Rössl [The White Horse Inn]' and was written by Blumenthal and Kadelburg. The performance was held at Deutsches Theatre in Trial Bay Internment camp between 25 and 26 December 1916. The playbill is illustrated with people alighting from a carriage in front of an inn.
