Description
Souvenir program for a concert held during the First World War. This program is for a concert held at the Australian Engineers training depot in Brightlingsea, England at 6pm on Thursday August 1917. The concert performed in two parts. The first part of the concert was a performance of the Australian play 'The rescue of Lady Lucy from the Wild Black Australians', written by Lieutenant A. J. Jessep. The second part of the concert was a musical program featuring instrumental and vocal performances concluding with dances. Music was provided by Australian Engineers Depot Brass Band.
