Description
Studio portrait of SX13081 Sister (Sr) Elvin Wittwer, Australian Army Nursing Service (AANS). Enlisting in the AANS on 7 February 1941, Sr Wittwer served with the 2/13th Australian General Hospital. Sr Wittwer was commissioned as a Captain prior to the end of the Second World War. She was discharged from the AANS on 3 August 1948.
