Studio portriat of 403961 Flying Officer (FO) Sydney Wood Smith of 228 Squadron. FO Wood enlisted in Sydney, NSW on 31 March 1941. He was killed in a flying accident along with H.R.H Duke of Kent in a Sunderland flying boat en route from Scotland to Iceland on 25 August 1942.
