Letters from Robert Pearce Flockart to his Mother, 1915
Photostat copies of letters relating to the First World War service of Major Robert Pearce Flockart, 5th Battalion. The original letters were written by Robert Flockart to his mother in East Camberwell, Victoria, between 16 April and 9 July 1915. In the letters, Flockart describes the short voyage to Gallipoli, his wounding on active service and convalescence on Lemnos Island. The photostat copies were made by the Australian War Memorial, Melbourne, in 1928. The location of the originals is unknown.
