This file, originally part of Book 3, covers 11 April to 26 April 1915, and includes official and personal correspondence and reports relating to the landing at Gallipoli. It also contains several reconnaissance reports on the Gallipoli peninsula, and personal letters from Monash to his wife, daughter and brother, in which he states his concerns for the landing and bids them goodbye in case it is the "last opportunity I have of talking to you".
