This series consists of papers relating to the First World War service of General Sir John Monash. The folders, originally bound together as 23 books, were organised by Monash and other family members and are arranged chronologically. The files include official war records, published material, correspondence, messages and signals, war diary fragments, military orders, personal letters, photographs, postcards, and a large collection of concert and theatre programmes.
