Photostat copy of a diary relating to the First World War service of Major Frederick Harold Tubb VC, 7th Battalion. This file consists of part one of a diary kept by Major Frederick Harold Tubb during 1914. In the diary, covering the dates between 1 August 1914 and 1 December 1914, Major Tubb describes enlisting in Australia, his stop at Colombo, the journey to Egypt and his impressions of Port Said. The photostat copies were made by the Australian War Memorial in 1927.
