Description
Diary relating to the First World War service of 2347 Staff Sergeant Henry 'Harry' Langtip, 4th Light Horse Regiment. In this diary, written between 27 February 1918 and May 1918, Langtip documents the continued pursuit of the Turkish forces into Transjordan. He also details the raid on Es Salt in April/May 1918. He continued to serve with 4 Light Horse Regiment, as did his brothers 2348 Sergeant Leslie Langtip, 2346 Sapper Bertie Langtip and 2345 Sapper Ernest Langtip.
