Description
One of the well constructed reinforced concrete barrack building of the former Gordon Highlander Barracks, which were built in 1937. This area is now the Changi Prisoner of War Camp and used by the Japanese to hold the Australian and Allied prisoners of war who were captured at the fall of Singapore. The concrete floor served as the bed for most of the Australians.
Verso; Tavoy drome POW Camp.
