A Department of Information propaganda film produced by the Netherlands East Indies Film Unit on the Allied invasion of Japanese occupied Morotai. The Morotai Task Force comprised of United States Army and Navy ground, sea and air forces and units of the Royal Australian Navy. The RAN ships participating were the heavy cruisers HMAS Australia and HMAS Shropshire, the destroyers HMAS Arunta and HMAS Warramanga and the Landing Ships Infantry HMAS Westralia, HMAS Kanimbla and HMAS Manoora.
