HMAS Shropshire
Description
In April 1944 HMAS Shropshire, as a unit of Task Force 74, took part in escorting convoys up the coast of New Guinea and the bombardment of Hollandia and after the landing at Hollandia, escorting US aircraft carriers of Task Force 78 in the Solomon and Bismarck Sea areas. Gives a general outline of life aboard a cruiser.
