Letters relating to the First World Service of 953 Bombardier Frederick William Rowe, 2nd Field Artillery Brigade, 1914-1915.

Rowe describes the sights of Egypt (especially those of Cairo), military life, obervations of and memorable events involving his fellow Australian troops, the landing at Anzac Cove, and the campaign at Gallipoli.
