Description
Photostat copy of sketch map relating to the First World War service of Captain Robert Cuthbert Grieve. The map was originally drawn by 318 Private Henry Herbert Lines. It is a map of the sector where Grieve and the 37th Battalion fought during the Battle of Messines on 7 June 1917. The map depicts trenches and other ground features, many of which are mentioned in his account of the battle.
