A happy Christmas
Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. This postcard is an envelope style card with with a Christmas pudding with the Union Flag and French flag inserted, red roses and embroidered message 'A happy Christmas'. On the reverse side is a short message from Captain Arthur Offord Brown to Syd Brown, dated 1917. Message reads "Xmas 1917 To dear Syd. With fondest love from your affect. brother Arthur xxxxx".
