This file contains correspondence, reports regarding operations of the Dardanelles Army, and official reports on the commission into the Dardanelles campaign in 1917. The original envelope in which these official reports were received by Field Marshal Lord William Birdwood is also included. General Sir Charles Monro, Chief of the General Staff Mediterranean Force, is amongst the recipients of the reports written by Birdwood that are contained in this file. Another correspondent in this file is the Viceroy of India, Edward Frederick Lindley Wood (Earl Irwin).
