Diary of Lindsay Robert Turner, 1919 (Vol. 7)
Description
Diary relating to the First World War service of Lieutenant Lindsay Robert Turner, 14th Field Artillery Brigade. The diary contains entries from 8 January 1919 to 15 May 1919 and is the last of seven volumes written by Turner documenting his service during the war. The diary entries cover his convalescence in England after sustaining a gunshot wound to the face on the Western Front and his subsequent voyage home to Australia. The diary appears to have been transcribed from originals at some stage after his service in the war.
