Typescript extracts of letters relating to the First World War service of 27164 Gunner Nicholas Bannon, 2nd Field Artillery Brigade. In these extracts Bannon covers: the work involved in carting ammunition for the 1st Divisional Ammunition Column; the rest camp in France his visited; how the men would fish using their rifles at camp; and his transfer to the 6th Battery of the 2nd Field Artillery Brigade.
