Mixed collection related to Private Frank Leslie Corpe (3718)
Description
Australian prisoners of war (POWs) attend a Christmas Day lunch, probably at Stendal camp. Identified at the front of the front, right table is 3718 Private (Pte) Frank Leslie Corpe, 13th Battalion who was captured at Riencourt, Germany on 11 April 1917, and was first interned in Dulmen camp. He returned to Australia on 10 April 1919 aboard HMAT Medic. Frank Corpe also served in the Second World War. This image is from the collection of Frank Corpe.
